Hostile Waters Remake

Additions:

  • HD salamander
  • HD Rhino
  • HD Loading room! (Currently only the blue map is HD)
  • New game Icon and cursor
  • UI finally properly aligns to the screen edges! Now you can play with whatever main monitor you have. Yes, even 21:9.
  • All objects that are in later levels have been added to the ID system. (you can spawn them and check them out)
  • Added the "hold" task... finally... But that quick control panel (top-right) is still lacking a lot of features.

Fixes:

  • Fixed Unit Display Info (top) not showing weapon icons sometimes
  • Fixed cloud jitter when moving
  • Fixed observing units visuals in multiplayer. (Observing players)
  • Fixed voice audio pause/resume
  • Fixed scav behemoth poor controls
  • Fixed night vision persisting between levels
  • Lots of LODs distance changes
  • Did a lot of object visibility corrections on radar. Still needs some work.
  • Fixed the howitzer AI logic
  • Fixed wheeled vehicles AI logic
  • Warhammer particles fixes
  • Fixed the AI using firestorm by adding a minimum charge limit before you can fire again.
  • Fixed some issues with repair and scav AIs
  • Fixed VTOL bomber bomb particles
  • Fixed energy sync in MP
  • Fixed some issues with the sampler in MP
  • Fixed the warhammer shattering your eardrums when firing. (it previously ignored the global volume settings)
  • Fixed object doubling and missing sync objects in MP. Seriously, how did this work for this many years before?
  • Fixed not being able to spam longbow missiles in MP.
  • Fixed multiple factories not producing units together in a same team.
  • Fixed Unit info Display (top) not showing the correct HP in MP.
  • Some fixes with cloak.
  • Fixed scav AI aim.
  • Fixed being able to switch to magpie.
  • Fixed the scale of the comically large bits for L7 Hydro debris.
  • Skip debrief if there is no text
  • Fixed cannon bunkers on death objs.
  • Cold gen and alien how. death objs fix.
  • Fixed war room move if not in the war room.
  • Fixed air production antenna not having holes.
  • Fixed war room move bounds when unit is outside the map
  • Fixed fog and horizon colors not syncing properly
  • Fixed being able to select units in the ESC menu.

Changes:

  • A lot of Save/Load improvements. Still some stuff is missing like weapon bullets/missiles/EMP balls and the like.
  • Changed a few turrets' rotation speeds
  • Removed the units construction limit, go nuts!
  • Tweaked amphibious AI pathfinding
  • Improved the flyers' ability to hit their targets
  • Improved the Antaeus collision
  • Carrier guns now have nice particles and a sound. (But not possible to test that in the demo... :( )
  • Static graphics are now a shader! Before it was just images...
  • Adjusted the terrain textures in lvl1
  • The additional unit info panel now closes if moving to in game mode.
  • Default quality is now High instead of Ultra.

And quite a lot of additions and changes outside the demo's bounds... Like cinematics.
